Waitlist privacy
Updated October 2, 2026
The Project Matchlock waitlist collects your email address when you choose to sign up for development updates, playtest opportunities, and launch news. Joining does not create a game account or guarantee access.
What we store
Your email address, signup date, subscription status, and the version of the consent notice you accepted. To limit automated submissions, we temporarily store a keyed, daily-changing hash derived from your IP address. We do not store your raw IP address in the waitlist database. Abuse-prevention records expire after 25 hours and are cleaned up on subsequent submissions.
Where it goes
The website and submission endpoint run on Vercel. Waitlist records are stored privately in our Supabase database in the United States. These providers may process connection and security logs under their own policies. Subscriber email addresses are not publicly visible and are not sold.
Your choice
Signing up is optional. We will use your email only for Project Matchlock updates you requested. Every marketing email will include a way to unsubscribe. We will retain your signup while the waitlist is operating or until you request removal.
Questions and removal requests
Email info@projectmatchlock.com to ask about or request deletion of your waitlist record. Once email updates begin, you can also reply to an update or use its unsubscribe link.
